OM would have offered €2 million to recruit Ousmane Coulibaly, 22-year-old winger from Stade Malien. A potential reinforcement to boost the Marseille attack with a view to qualifying for the Champions League.

Olympique de Marseille have reportedly made an offer to recruit Ousmane Coulibaly, alias Kalaba, a promising 22-year-old Malian winger playing at Stade Malien, according to media Afrik Foot. Author of 9 goals and 5 assists this season, the player also attracts the attention of Real Sociedad, who would consider a similar offer.

The amount proposed by OM amounts to 2 million euros, a modest figure for a player on the rise. Marseille president Pablo Longoria is reportedly close to reaching an agreement, a significant step forward for a profile that could boost the Olympian attack.

OM strengthens its ambitions in Ligue 1

With checkered performances in attack, OM are looking to strengthen themselves with a view to qualifying for the Champions League next season. The lack of real competition for Mason Greenwood on the right and the limited duel between Jonathan Rowe and Luis Henrique on the left are forcing Marseille to explore new avenues. The arrival of Ousmane Coulibaly could bring depth and creativity to an offensive sector in search of consistency.
