This Wednesday, Patrick Vieira was officially named coach of Genoa. The 48-year-old technician, who has held a position as a sports consultant on DAZN since the start of the season, therefore replaces Alberto Gilardino on the bench of the Italian club.
In the capital of Liguria, the 1998 world champion will meet two players who played for Olympique de Marseille last season: Vitinha and Ruslan Malinovsky. He will also once again cross paths with Mario Balotelli, who played under him at OGC Nice during the 2018-2019 financial year.
