A major downsizing should take place at Manchester United at the end of the current campaign. According to Fabrizio Romano, the English club wants to get rid of some old captains who earn a lot of money to make room for new recruits.
Manchester United will change its face
Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen will leave the club at the end of the season. He has not been offered a new contract by his managers, although he has been used frequently this season. While it is possible that Eriksen will be retained, it is currently more likely that he will be left free.
United will allow new boss Ruben Amorim to have a say on impending free agents like Eriksen, Harry Maguire, Amad Diallo, Jonny Evans, Victor Lindelof, and others.
The Red Devils will play their first match under Amorim’s management after the international break against Ipswich Town.
