A wind of uncertainty is blowing around Luis Campos, sports advisor of Paris Saint-Germain. As his contract expires next June, rumors suggest a possible arrival of the former architect of Monaco and Lille at Arsenal, who are looking for a replacement for Edu Gaspar, who recently left for Nottingham Forest.
According to Sky Sportsthe London club considers Luis Campos as a “serious target” for the position of sporting director. Campos, who played a major role in the renewal of PSG’s sporting policy by attracting players such as Gonçalo Ramos or Lucas Hernandez, has so far not found an agreement for an extension with the Parisian club, despite an initial desire of both parties to continue the adventure.
An uncertain future at PSG
The departure of Campos, if it were to be confirmed, could disrupt PSG’s plans a few weeks before the opening of the winter transfer window.
While the Ile-de-France club is preparing for a decisive transfer window, the hypothesis of Campos leaving for Arsenal is already raising many questions within the Parisian club.
