According to Marca, Fenerbahçe, one of the rare clubs interested in his profile, would have abandoned the idea of recruiting him this winter. José Mourinho, coach of the Turkish club, would have advised his management to abandon this avenue, citing in particular the player’s new injuries. This turnaround comes as the club had considered relaunching Fati’s career with an offer in January.
With Fenerbahçe out of the race, Ansu Fati will now have to focus on his return from injury, scheduled for mid-December, to convince his current coach to give him a chance. If this attempt fails, a departure in the summer transfer window seems inevitable.
