Algeria outclassed Liberia this Sunday in the CAN 2026 qualifiers (5-1). A highly symbolic success.
Already qualified for the next African Cup of Nations, Algeria concluded its qualifying campaign undefeated and with a fifth victory in six outings, this Sunday in Tizi Ouzou, at the expense of Liberia. Thanks to Mandi (20e), Mahrez (29e), Bounedjah (64e), Gouiri (74e) and Amoura (90e+5), the Greens won largely (5-1) after the opponent’s opening score signed by Dweh (6e).
