The 27-year-old former FC Barcelona winger has started planning his future after retiring from football by revealing the age at which he wants to hang up his boots. In conversation with compatriot and Real Madrid star Aurélien Tchouaméni, Dembélé also said he plans to enter the real estate market and expand his business empire beyond France.
Speaking on ESN’s YouTube channel, Dembélé told Tchouaméni: “I want to retire at 34. And then I want to get into real estate. Investing in Africa, in France”.

The French international joined PSG from the Catalan giants in the summer of 2023 and enjoyed an impressive debut campaign, helping the team to three trophies, including the Ligue 1 title. However, in the 2024 campaign- 25, he was briefly embroiled in controversy when he was left out of PSG’s squad for the Champions League clash against Arsenal for reportedly being disrespectful.
The winger had to withdraw from the France squad for November’s Nations League clashes at the last minute due to a hamstring injury. However, he is expected to be back in action for Luis Enrique’s side who take on Toulouse in Ligue 1 on Friday.
