English side Nottingham Forest have expressed interest in Bayern Munich striker Mathys Tel. The latter not being very satisfied with his situation in Bavaria since the arrival of Vincent Kompany at the helm of the team.

The double European champion club hopes to get their hands on the former Rennes player during the January transfer window. Management has already contacted Bayern to find an agreement.

Such will not choose just any club

Nottingham is hopeful of being able to complete the deal. That said, the main person concerned is not very keen to join the City Ground. According to certain indiscretions, he is targeting a larger club. Werder Bremen are also interested and staying in Germany could suit the Frenchman and Bayern for the second part of the season.

Tel has played 7 games this season in all competitions, but only 2 as a starter. He accumulated 224 minutes of play, making him the 17th most used player in the squad. And he still hasn’t made the slightest decisive move.
