Football is madness. Things can change quickly and I haven’t had the chance to thank everyone in the last couple of years. Everyone knows that Arsenal is my club and it is never easy to leave, especially when you care so much about the club, the staff and especially the players. When I retired from football I got into coaching. This club gave me the opportunity to take on my first head coaching position, and I learned a lot! But I couldn’t have done it without the help and support of the staff. We shared difficult moments, but also extraordinary memories which gave me sensations that I had never experienced in football. Arsenal remains in my blood and I will watch every game as a fan. I hope we see other young players from the Academy make the step up to the first team! Adam Birchall (his successor), good luck, my friend! Until we meet again », Said the ex-Arsenal player.
