According to the Brazilian media Globo Esporte, Jorge Sampaoli has already defined among the recruitment priorities the versatile midfielder Gerson, whom he had attracted to Marseille in the summer of 2021 before finding him again at Flamengo two years later .
The former Chile coach would also have targeted defender Fabricio Bruno, also owned by Flamengo. Both linked to the Carioca club until 2027 and 2028, Gerson and Bruno are estimated at 15 and 10 million euros respectively.
