AS Roma is looking for a new coach. And the favorite to sit on the Giallorossi bench is Roberto Mancini. The latter is preferred to Frank Lampard.
La Louve fired Ivan Juric on Sunday following their humiliating home defeat to Bologna at the weekend. The Englishman Lampard was once tipped to arrive at the Olimpico. But that’s not the case anymore.
Roma are spoiled for choice
According to Florian Plettenberg of Sky Germany, it is now Roberto Mancini who is in pole position to take control of the Italian team. “Frank Lampard will not be the new coach of AS Roma as things currently stand. He was one of the candidates, as was said. Roberto Mancini is still in the running to replace Ivan Juric. But there are other options for AS Roma.”
Mancini has been free since the end of his collaboration with the Saudi federation. In Italy, he has already coached Inter Milan, Fiorentina and Lazio in the past.
