While the elections will take place in a month, Philippe Diallo was keen to take stock of his time at the FFF: “The rules for electoral campaigns are very strict and we are not yet in an official campaign, so I will speak out when the time comes. But I want to pursue a useful mandate for football and many people support me in this sense. We recorded a record number of licensees, 2,400,000, and licensees, more than 250,000. Sportingly, the overall results are very good», he declared in the columns of West France. In the event of re-election, Diallo promised to develop a little more on amateur football, while respecting the “values of neutrality and secularism» and be uncompromising on cases of sexual and gender-based violence.

Candidate for re-election, he continued in the Breton press: “Same satisfaction economically: the Federation has been able to strengthen its solidity and can even envisage very significant growth in its income for the future, since we have renewed our equipment contract with Nike under very good conditions (more than €100 million/year) . It offers a ten-year perspective for French football. This renewal, under exceptional conditions for the Federation, took place in a gloomy economic situation. It’s a success. It was not self-evident“. The French leader confirmed that Jean-Michel Aulas, Marc Keller and Aline Riera will be on his list.
