This Wednesday morning, the English press announced that Benjamin Mendy had won his legal and financial standoff with Manchester City. In fact, the Frenchman claimed his unpaid wages from his former employer when he was awaiting trial for rape and sexual assault. After three years of waiting, I sincerely hope that the club will now act honorably by paying the amounts due, as well as the other sums promised under my contract without further delay, so that I can finally turn the page of this painful period of my life.
