OM won in Nantes in the closing match of the 10th day of Ligue 1, this Sunday evening.

The closing match of the 10th day of Ligue 1 pitted FC Nantes (14th with 10 points at the initial whistle) against Olympique de Marseille (4th with 17 points) this Sunday evening at the Stade de la Beaujoire. Last weekend, OM took a big blow to the head by experiencing a heavy setback during the Classic against PSG (0-3). It was therefore a question of bouncing back for the Phocaeans.

It was also Maupay who opened the scoring in this match. Jonathan Rowe offered himself a very dangerous cross in front of goal on which Maupay threw himself victoriously.

But Nantes did not give up and was going to equalize when a cross from Coco was taken perfectly with the flat of the left foot by Kadewere, deceiving Rulli. 1-1 was the score at half-time. It was at the hour mark that Mason Greenwood allowed OM to take the definitive advantage with a precise left-footed shot flush with Lafont’s post. 2-1, final score, despite a post from Rabiot and a big miss from Kadewere on a nice move from Greenwood. OM therefore won in Nantes and recovered after its big fall during the Classic.
