After the draw (1-1) between Mainz and Borussia M’Gladbach, the 8th day of the Bundesliga continued this Saturday, with four posters scheduled for 3:30 p.m. In the top-of-the-table clash between Fribourg, third, and RB Leipzig, second, it was the residents of the Red Bull Arena who confirmed their excellent start to the season. Despite Doan’s opening score for the visitors (0-1, 15th), Marco Rose’s gang woke up after returning from the locker room, completely turning this match around thanks to Orban (1-1, 47th), Geertruida ( 2-1, 58th) and Openda (3-1, 79th). A success which allows the RBL to temporarily take the lead in the ranking.

In the other matches of the afternoon, Borussia Dortmund, reduced to ten in the final moments, fell (1-2) on the Augsburg pitch. Despite Malen’s opening score, the BvB could do nothing against Claude-Maurice’s double (25th, 50th). In front of its audience, gathered at the MHPArena, VfB Stuttgart, for its part, did not tremble to get rid of Holstein Kiel (2-1). Finally, Sankt Pauli recovered a point when receiving Wolfsburg. In the standings, Leipzig is in the lead pending the Bayern Munich match. Freiburg remains 3rd, just ahead of Bayer Leverkusen, who faces Werder at 6:30 p.m. Kiel and Bochum bring up the rear.
