This Friday, at the opening of the 9th day of the Premier League, Nottingham Forest traveled to Leicester. Author of a surprising start to the season, Forest had the opportunity to return to the top 5 in the event of a victory on the Foxes’ pitch. And at the end of a match during which they were realistic, the Tricky Trees fulfilled their mission.

While Ryan Yates opened the scoring despite weaker possession (0-1, 16th), Jamie Vardy reacted immediately to tie the scorers (1-1, 23rd). Finally, Chris Wood gave the victory by scoring a double after returning from the locker room (47th, 60th). With this success, Nottingham Forest climbs to 5th place.
