Everything is going well for Liverpool. After the departure of Jürgen Klopp at the end of last season, Reds supporters were afraid for the future. Finally, with the same squad as last season and under the leadership of Arne Slot, who arrived this summer from Feyenoord, Liverpool are walking on water. Leader of the Premier League, the Mersey club is in great shape. However, a major start was made official this Friday afternoon. It is not a player but Dave Fallows, director of scouting and recruitment of Anfield residents, as the latter announced a few minutes ago in a press release:
“Liverpool FC can confirm that Dave Fallows will leave the club after deciding to end his 12-year spell. As a result, he will leave his position as director of scouting and recruitment, having informed the Reds hierarchy of his intention to leave. In keeping with his long-standing commitment to the club, Fallows initially chose to delay his decision and remain in post to help with the transition of the new football management team before leaving. With this process completed, he has chosen to end his successful tenure as a key figure in Liverpool’s football operations structure by the end of this year.»
