Before Manchester United’s trip to Fenerbahçe on Thursday evening in the Europa League, José Mourinho warned his future opponents.

José Mourinho, today at the head of Fenerbahçe, will reunite with his former team Manchester United this Thursday during the 3rd day of the Europa League. During the pre-match press conference, the Portuguese technician did not hesitate to designate the English club as one of the main favorites for the final victory in C3.

“Along with Tottenham, these are the two big candidates for final victory. The Premier League is on a different level in terms of quality, intensity, pace, tactical culture… in short: everything”said the Special One.

Mourinho’s prediction

The one who officiated on the Red Devils bench between 2016 and 2019, however, wanted to send a warning to the current United coach, Erik Ten Hag. The “Mou” expects a tough match against a Mancunian team led by its executives.

“They don’t have to be afraid of us, but I think they know it’s not going to be an easy game. And if they think that’s the case, that’s clearly the wrong approach. (…) I think they will come with their full team, that they will not rotate players. They will be complete, at least that’s what I would do…”said the tactician from Setúbal.
