Hertha Berlin warns its supporters. The club from the German capital spoke out against the spread of the expression ‘big booty’ in a song in praise of the club using this slogan. This expression would give pride of place to Nazi Germany where the latter was in vogue, which greatly annoys Hertha Berlin. “The club does not want to accuse anyone of bad intentions, but wants to clearly distance itself from Nazi slogans with regard to the club’s values”wrote Hertha in a statement published on social networks.

“The phrase ‘and a big booty’ combined with these slogans is a war slogan from the Nazi era”affirms the German team in its press release. Berlin supporters are therefore warned and firmly invited to no longer reproduce these chants which can cause confusion. If the club is no longer in the Bundesliga today, but in the second division where it currently sits in 7th place, Hertha Berlin remains a stronghold of German football which wants to set a good example.
