Continuation of the 8th day of Serie A. The Cagliari club welcomed Torino to Sardinia, on the lawn of the Unipol Domus. A rather eventful match between the two teams which was finally won by the Sardi (3-2). Quickly dominating, Torino was nevertheless surprised by this opening score from Nicola Viola who sent a missile on a free kick at the entrance to the area (38th). The reaction was immediate for the Granata who equalized from a corner thanks to a helmet hit from Antonio Sanabria (41st). At the start of the second half, Karol Linetty allowed the Turinese to take the lead with this formidable strike from distance into the top corner (55th).

But José Luis Palomino reset the counters by equalizing from a corner (75th). On a shot from Roberto Piccoli, Saul Coco deviated from the trajectory, thus deceiving his goalkeeper and Cagliari regained the advantage (78th). In the standings, Torino remains in a good position in 9th place, confirming a positive start to the season, while Cagliari is still struggling but has moved up to 15th position. Next weekend, the Granata will welcome the promoted Como to Piedmont, while the Sardi will travel to Friuli to challenge Udinese, during the 9th day of the Italian championship.
