Stade Brestois’ next opponent in the Champions League, Bayer Leverkusen did not fail this Saturday.

The reigning German champion got the better of Frankfurt (2-1), with goals from Andrich (25e) and Boniface (72e).

The latter had missed a penalty at the start of the match (9e), which did not cause undue harm to his team, which nevertheless suffered the opening score by Marmoush (16e).

After two draws, Bayer returns to fourth position, just ahead of Eintracht, three lengths from Leipzig which occupies the leader’s chair after its success over Mainz (0-2).
