Real Madrid are certainly not having the expected start to the season. With the arrival of Kylian Mbappé this summer, the Merengues thought they had finally recruited the player they were missing to create a real dynasty. Despite winning two Champions Leagues in the last three seasons, the most successful club in the competition’s history has had a complicated start this season. In addition to the defeat against LOSC in C1 (1-0), the Madrilenians are three points behind Barça, leader of Liga.

Worse still, Carlo Ancelotti’s men lost Dani Carvajal for the rest of the season in the last meeting against Villarreal. A hard blow which inevitably disrupted the plans as the right back is so important in the Iberian plans. And while recruiting a replacement seemed inevitable, Carlo Ancelotti suggested that an arrival this winter was improbable this Friday at a press conference: “ we don’t rule out signing a suitable player for Real Madrid but it’s not that simple. We are going to use the youth team and we have the return of Alaba and for the moment we are not thinking of recruiting.»
