Olympique de Marseille failed to win their last two league matches. Missteps which led Roberto De Zerbi, his trainer, to re-examine some of his options. The Italian technician is particularly thinking of reviewing his offensive animation, by relegating a key element to the bench.
The player in question Amine Harit has played 7 matches so far, including 6 as a starter. He scored a goal and delivered 3 assists, but that didn’t excite De Zerbi that much. The latter expects much more from the Moroccan international, if we are to believe what RMC Sport reports.
De Zerbi asks himself questions
Harit occupies a central position on the field, that of the playmaker. For the coach, he must necessarily have more influence on the team’s play. And if he is not able to raise his level of play, then he will look for a new number 10 from the next winter transfer window. The former Nantes player will be invited to leave and find a new base.
De Zerbi might not even wait until mid-season to make radical choices within his training. He is thinking about placing other players in the center of the field. Mason Greenwood or Luis Henrique could abandon the wings to occupy this position. There would also be the idea of taking the team’s new recruit, Adrien Rabiot, up a notch.
