French midfielder, Paul Pogba, has been approached by LAFC. The Californian club, where Olivier Giroud and Hugo Lloris already play, dreams of attracting him to its squad.
Pogba’s appeal reduced his doping ban from four years to 18 months, meaning he will be able to return to the field in March. The French international is being pushed out by Juventus and a transfer to MLS has been mentioned.
Pogba plays for time
Daily newspaper Tuttosport claims LAFC are in contact with Pogba over a move to the United States for next season. For the moment, the midfielder has not yet responded.
Pogba is also of interest to Olympique de Marseille with a view to a move during the winter transfer window. The Marseille club would like to associate him with Adrien Rabiot in their midfield. Los Angeles and Marseille were therefore the only ones to come forward to enlist La Pioche. But there is no doubt that other requests will follow as the date of his return to the field approaches.
