Rabiot’s teammate in the French team, Mattéo Guendouzi is certainly the player best placed to discuss this astonishing signing. The current Lazio Rome player does not have Rabiot’s past with the Red and Blue jersey, but he attended PSG during his training course, before making his mark at OM.

Mattéo Guendouzi admitted to having been surprised by the arrival of Adrien Rabiot in Marseille, but the French international is optimistic about his teammate’s adventure in the Marseille city.
“ If he made this decision, it was because there were all the ingredients for it. There is always this rivalry between PSG and Marseille, we know how it goes. We were all a little surprised that he signed for OM, but I am sure that he will do a good job there, that he will flourish and that he will bring Marseille back to the place that this team deserved“, explained the 2022 world vice-champion at a press conference.
