UEFA has fined Atlético de Madrid 30,000 euros. This sanction, reported by Marcafollows several Nazi salutes from its ultras during the meeting between Benfica and the Colchoneros (4-0), in the Champions League, on October 2. The European football body will also ban the sale of tickets for away matches if the incidents are repeated during the year.

A sanction reminiscent of that inflicted on FC Barcelona after the match against AS Monaco. THE Blaugrana had been fined 10,000 euros following the inappropriate behavior of their supporters. They were also banned from selling tickets for Barça’s next away match in C1. For its part, Lazio was also singled out by UEFA after the racist behavior of certain supporters against Nice last week. Thus, two sectors of the Curva Nord of the Lazio stadium will be closed for the match against Porto on November 7 in addition to a fine of 45,000 euros.
