It’s the bomb of the week! This Wednesday, the newspaper l’Équipe announced that Paris FC was going to be bought by the Arnault family, which owns the LVMH group and by the Red Bull group.

Great news for French football but also the city of Paris which could have two very high level clubs.

However, despite the excitement surrounding this announcement, the sporting director of the Parisian club François Ferracci wanted to calm things down. The Parisians will not do anything crazy during the winter transfer window in a few months.

“Contrary to some of the nonsense I’ve been hearing over the past 24 hours on various media, we have no intention of having a significant winter transfer window at all. We have been building a high quality group for over a year and I certainly have no intention of changing course. We will not have the madness of grandeur that is attributed to us at the risk of moving towards incoherent things,” he said during an interview with the newspaper The Parisian.

What is certain is that all eyes will now be on the Parisian team this season. The objective is to move up to Ligue 1 at the end of the season. At this moment, the PFC is in first place in the ranking.
