Trained at FC Barcelona, Adama Traoré never managed to establish himself with the Catalan club. Returning on loan from Wolverhampton from January to June 2022, the 28-year-old Spanish winger has mixed memories of his second experience at Barcelona. Questioned by the Cadena Serthe Fulham player returned to these two stints with the Blaugrana club and indicated that he was not against a return.
“ A bitter taste because every young Barça player wants to stay. I knew I was on loan, I knew the club’s situation and my intention was to help as much as possible. It is true that halfway through my loan there was a change, more personal, because of the coach. I came to replace (Ousmane) Dembélé in another position. (…) As a player trained there, I will always be a Barcelonista. If I had the option, why not, but it would have to be in other circumstances », indicated Traoré in comments relayed by A.S..
