Initially suspended for 4 years, Paul Pogba would have seen his sanction reduced to 18 months by the CAS, according to the Daily Mail. The 2018 world champion could return to competition as early as next March.

It’s a little bomb in the Paul Pogba soap opera. According to the Daily Mail, the 4-year suspension imposed on the French midfielder after his positive test for testosterone was reduced to 18 months by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

The 2018 world champion had appealed to the CAS, who claims not to have wanted to take drugs, but to have consumed a food supplement recommended by a doctor friend in Miami. His arguments were clearly heard.

Pogba back with the Blues?

Still according to the Daily Mail, Paul Pogba’s sanction should therefore end in March 2025. He could even resume training in January with Juventus, in order to be ready to play the last three months of the season with the Bianconeri.

While there were fears of a possible end to his career, with this suspension which was to last until the fall of 2027, Paul Pogba could therefore return to the field, and much earlier than expected. The former Manchester United player will turn 32 in March 2025.

Potentially, he could therefore be selected again for the French team, with a view to the 2026 World Cup. Here is a new surprise for Didier Deschamps, but this one is rather good.
