Former goalkeeping coach at Chelsea, Christophe Lollichon made strong comments about Gianluigi Donnarumma and Geronimo Rulli.

Singled out for his poor performance at the Emirates Stadium against Arsenal (0-2),
Gianluigi Dunnarumma is not spared from criticism. Including among goalkeeper specialists. Christophe Lollichon is one of them. The current consultant, former Chelsea goalkeeper coach, believes that Geronimo Rulli, the OM goalkeeper, offers more guarantees than that of PSG.

“If I have to choose between Rulli and Donnarumma, I take Rulli a hundred times, because he is proactive while Donnarumma is only reactive, launched Lollichon on BFM Marseille.
Rulli is one of the best goalkeepers in the French championship. He knew Ajax, Villarreal… I saw his progress. He is entering a period of maturity and OM needs a goalkeeper like that”.

Lollichon compares Rulli to Raya

Christophe Lollichon is completely won over by the technical profile of the new Olympique de Marseille goalkeeper. “He goes very fast, in the air sector he goes very high and he wants to intervene.”

“He reminds me a bit of David Raya from Arsenal, because he wants to intervene. And that’s really interesting because it relieves a defense. He wants to influence, it shows in his face, it shows in his attitudes”concluded the technician. Words which should not leave supporters indifferent, in Marseille as in Paris…
