DAZN is waging a merciless war against piracy and illegal streaming sites. Since the arrest of the CEO of Telegram, the application, which until now was quite restrictive on access to conversations and unresponsive to reporting requests, has completely changed its model. “Telegram now closes streaming loops in ten to fifteen minutes after our request”explained Hervé Lemaire – boss of LeakID, a company specializing in the protection of rights holders – in the columns of The Team.

On X, it’s a massacre. The social network, the main relay for this type of channel, saw a wave of its pirates announce the end of their activity during this week. Still according to Hervé Lemaire, “the three biggest streamers have ceased their activities”. A hunt for piracy initiated by the new rights holders of Ligue 1, who have suffered like never before because of these illegal streamings. Since September 1, 17,546 reports have been recorded, an unprecedented number. If a large part of the “work” has already been done, the LFP and its collaborators do not intend to stop there.
