Wojciech Szczęsny to FC Barcelona, it’s only a matter of days. Everything seems to be complete for the arrival of the Polish goalkeeper in Catalonia and the officialization should take place next week. According to SportBarça has even already started the process with La Liga, by requesting the use of article 77.
Article 77 allows a new player to be registered, to replace another, in the event of an injury lasting at least four months. In this specific case, La Liga allows the use of 80% of the injured player’s salary and the 2% salary limit of the squad. FC Barcelona had already used this possibility offered by La Liga to register Dani Olmo, using Andreas Christensen’s injury. The Blaugranas are therefore preparing to draw out this solution once again in order to complete the arrival of Szczęsny.
