This Saturday, Juventus Turin traveled to Genoa to temporarily seize first place in Serie A. Having still not conceded a single goal this season in the league, the Old Lady therefore moved forward with certainty reassuring. In the first period, Thiago Motta’s men were unable to make the difference. Dominant, the Bianconeri were unable to produce sufficiently dangerous actions to open the scoring. Deliverance came in the second half.

After a naive hand from De Winter, Juve inherited a logical penalty. Facing Gollini, Dusan Vlahovic did not tremble to open the scoring. In good form, the Serbian striker even scored a double a few minutes later. Launched on the left, the latter controlled before scoring with a nice low shot (0-2, 55th). After Koopmeiners hit the bar (64th) and Vlahovic narrowly missed the target for the hat-trick (82nd), Juventus Turin finally completed their solid success in the 90th minute thanks to Francisco Conceicao’s first goal this season on a service from Khephren Thuram (0-3). With this success, Juve climbs to first place. For its part, Genoa is sixteenth.
