Serhou Guirassy started again with the same standards as last season. With one difference: he now wears a yellow jersey. Against Bochum this Friday, the Guinean striker allowed Dortmund to win 4-2. At the start of the match, the finalists of the last Champions League had in fact conceded two goals in quick succession from Bero (16th, 0-1), then from de Wit (21st, 0-2).

Already a scorer in his last two matches against Bruges (3-0), in the Champions League, then against his former club Stuttgart, despite the heavy defeat (5-1), Guirassy then resurfaced. In the final moments of the first period, the former Rennais reduced the gap by heading a cross from Brandt (1-2). Emre Can then equalized from the penalty spot (62nd, 2-2), before Guirassy gave his team the advantage following a good relay with Adeyemi (79th, 3-2). At the end of the match, Nmecha finally extinguished Bochum’s hopes, and ensured success for his team (4-2, 81st). A victory which will do good for Nuri Sahin and his men, provisionally 2nd in the Bundesliga. Bochum is penultimate.
