Still undefeated, Atletico Madrid has 15 points after seven days and is only two points behind Real Madrid. Barça, on the other hand, has already made the hole since thanks to its seven victories in seven matches, the Blaugrana club already has four and six points over its two Madrid rivals. The clash between Atletico and Real on Sunday will therefore be crucial and Diego Simeone’s troops are not approaching it in the best conditions.

The Colchoneros delivered a very lackluster performance against Celto Vigo, to the point of having to wait until the hour mark to get their first opportunity. And even the start of the last ten minutes to see the Madrilenians’ first shot on target. Ten minutes later, Atletico Madrid would finally score the only goal of the match thanks to Julian Alvarez, who came on in the second half.
And the residents of the Wanda Metropolitano can thank Antoine Griezmann, at the origin of the Argentine world champion’s goal thanks to a very good cross. But the man of the match, on the Atletico side, was Jan Oblak, author of numerous saves throughout the match.
