Every summer, clubs miss out on the transfer window, regardless of the championship. In the Bundesliga, which is nevertheless a championship accustomed to good moves and revealed talents, German clubs are no exception to the rule. SportBild has revealed a table of the ten biggest flops in Germany over the last twenty years. A ranking established on the basis of a ratio between the number of millions paid for players, and the number of matches they have played for their clubs.

Among this list, several big names like Julian Draxler at Wolfsburg, Sadio Mané or Renato Sanches on the Bayern side. The Bavarian team is also the most represented in this ranking with 3 players among the 10.
