Injured at the start of the season, French defender Leny Yoro is reportedly not far from returning to competition.

Manchester United’s new defender Leny Yoro should soon be back on the pitch.

The promising French central defender was recruited at a high price by the English club during the transfer window. The Red Devils paid 62 million to LOSC to secure the services of this player. However, he only participated in one friendly match, during which he injured his foot. An operation and a long period of unavailability were then decreed.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Yoro is recovering well and his return to the pitch is imminent. It would only be a matter of weeks before he returns to competition.

However, the English club are cautious with their star recruit and do not want him to suffer a relapse. He will therefore train and play matches with the under-21s before returning to the first team.
