Continuation of the 5th day of Serie A. AS Roma opened the doors of its Stadio Olimpico to Udinese for a special encounter for both teams. For the Giallorossi, this match marked the big debut of Croatian coach Ivan Jurić who took over from Daniele De Rossi earlier in the week. On the other hand, the Friulani wanted to string together another victory to keep the lead in the championship. During a duel controlled by the locals, Artem Dovbyk opened the scoring (19th) in the first half. In the second half, Paulo Dybala doubled the lead on penalty (49th) before Tommaso Baldanzi scored his goal (70th).
