FC Barcelona continues its perfect run in La Liga. The Catalan club secured its sixth win in as many games by winning comfortably at Villarreal (1-5), to sign a new victory after those successful against Valladolid (7-0) and Girona (1-4).

The Blaugranas quickly put their Champions League defeat to Monaco behind them, taking the lead thanks to a brace from Robert Lewandowski (20th, 35th), before Ayoze Perez reduced the gap (38th). This match was quite crazy, with chances galore for both sides, and Barça put the nail in the coffin in the second half.

Ter Stegen, the big black spot

Young Pablo Torre scored (58th) and after a penalty missed by Lewandowski, it was Raphinha who scored twice in turn (75th, 83rd), notably taking advantage of a magnificent assist from Lamine Yamal.

The picture could be perfect if Barça had not been hit by what looks like another major injury. Marc-André Ter Stegen was carried off on a stretcher at the end of the first half, after a cameo in which he injured his knee. It is worrying.
