Real Madrid beat Espanyol this Saturday in the 6th day of La Liga (4-1). With Mbappé being doubly decisive.

And three! Three wins in a row for Real Madrid in La Liga, which seems to confirm week after week that the machine is well and truly underway. After a difficult but victorious start this week in the Champions League (3-1 against Stuttgart), the Merengues have not failed.

After a lively first half but without any goals, it was Barcelona who opened the scoring at the Bernabeu, with an improbable own goal from Courtois (0-1, 54e). A short-lived advantage since Carvajal was quick to respond after good work from Bellingham (1-1, 58e).

Thrown into the mix shortly before the hour mark, Vinicius finally turned the match around by making an offering for Rodrygo first (2-1, 75e), then in turn transforming the windfall created by Mbappé (3-1, 78e).

Mbappé passer and scorer

Mbappé was in charge of closing the score with a penalty obtained by Endrick in the final moments of the match (4-1, 90e) – the logical reward for a successful match which saw the former Parisian struggle on the front line of the Madrid attack. With a sense of altruism that is all to his credit.

With this success, Real temporarily returns to the wake of the Blaugrana leader, one length behind FC Barcelona who will try to regain their ease on Sunday on the Villarreal pitch.
