Eduardo Camavinga is finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Sidelined due to a sprained medial lateral ligament in his left knee suffered in August, the 21-year-old French midfielder should soon be able to play again with Real Madrid. The next step, his return to team training, is about to be reached, according to Carlo Ancelotti.
Camavinga “very close to a return”
In a press conference, the Italian coach indicated on Friday that the French international would indeed be returning to the squad. “next week”:
“Camavinga is very close to a comebackhe said. I think he will start working with the team next week. He is doing well individually, he has recovered from his injury, he is working very well.”
This return is good news for the White House even if the former Rennes player, who has not played since the Euro 2024 semi-final between Les Bleus and Spain, will have to take his time.
“He’s obviously a very, very important player for us, because he allows us to have a little more rotation in the middle, added the transalpine technician. He will bring a lot to the team.”
