OGC Nice hosts AS Saint-Etienne this Friday for the 5th day of Ligue 1 (8:45 p.m.). Here is the expected line-up for the Greens.

A week after unlocking its points counter by signing a very encouraging victory against Lille (1-0), theAS Saint-Etienne will try to confirm his return to form against OGC Nice, another declared outsider in this French championship.

A match that the Greens are nevertheless approaching with a still very reduced squad. Yvann Maçon is out and has undergone surgery, as has Thomas Monconduit, while Anthony Briançon is also out for this trip to the Côte d’Azur. Ibrahima Wadji will also be absent.

A further weakened eleven for the Greens

Olivier Dall’Oglio gave an update on his infirmary. “The operations of Yvann Maçon and Thomas Monconduit went well. Anthony Briançon is out, he still has his knee pain. Ibrahima Wadji is in the recovery phase, while Augustine Boakye is back in the group.”

The Greens should therefore present themselves in a 4-1-4-1 system with their summer reinforcement Stassin at the forefront of the attack. Davitashvili or Cafaro, in great form, will be important to support the young Belgian in the offensive animation. The executives Appiah, Abdelhamid and Larsonneur are also expected.

The expected line-up for Saint-Etienne : Larsonneur – Appiah, Batubinsika, Abdelhamid, Cornud – Ekwah – Davitashvili, Moueffek, Amougou, Cafaro – Stassin.
