Having moved from Losc to AC Milan this summer, Paulo Fonseca is already in the hot seat in Lombardy.

AC Milan are struggling at the start of the season. Tenth after four Serie A games, the Rossoneri did win their first league match last weekend, against Venezia (4-0), but things went downhill again this week in the Champions League against Liverpool (1-3).

According to Sky Italia, the newly arrived Portuguese coach Paulo Fonseca is already under threat, with some of his players and managers no longer having confidence in his method. Now invested within the organisation, Zlatan Ibrahimovic himself is reportedly working on finding a replacement for the former Lille strategist.

Terzic, Sarri and Allegri favorites?

A lead would be found: the one leading to Edin Terzic, the former coach of Borussia Dortmund, currently free of any commitment. According to the aforementioned transalpine media, the latter would be very interested in the prospect of managing AC Milan – he even attended the C1 match against the Reds, Tuesday at San Siro.

The Gazzetta dello Sport, for its part, cites Maurizio Sarri as the club’s priority. While the Corriere della Sera is banking more on Massimiliano Allegri. The names of Thomas Tuchel and Igor Tudor are also said to be circulating behind the scenes.
