A few months after his departure from Juventus, Massimiliano Allegri could bounce back at the head of another big Italian club.

Massimiliano Allegri, one of the renowned coaches who is currently free, is likely to find work quickly. His name is mentioned as a potential candidate to take the reins of AS Roma.

The club from the Italian capital announced on Wednesday the dismissal of De Rossi after a catastrophic start to the season (0 wins in 4 matches). And Allegri is one of the contenders to succeed him, as is Ivan Juric.

Another Italian giant for Allegri

According to TMW, De Rossi was fired after the Friedkin family sided with their CEO over De Rossi due to the poor start to the season. De Rossi explained that his new team needed time to adjust, but Souloukou refused to accept that excuse during a meeting yesterday.

During his coaching career, Allegri has already coached two major Italian teams, namely Milan and Juventus. And within these clubs, he has been champion at least once. Giallorossi fans must hope that there is a “never two without three” with him.
