According to The Independent, Madrid are interested in signing Manchester City midfielder Rodri, Liverpool right-back Alexander-Arnold and Arsenal defender William Saliba or Tottenham centre-back Cristian Romero.
The outlet adds that after the summer signing of Kylian Mbappe, Madrid have started a new era where they are ready to assert their financial power. This could see them pounce on Rodri, who is reportedly keen on eventually returning to his native Spain.
Real will do crazy things
Alexander-Arnold has been linked with Los Blancos for much of the summer, but a move has failed to materialise. However, with his contract set to expire in 2025, a move to the La Liga side could be a possibility.
Saliba, 23, and Romero, 26, have both become key players in their respective north London teams, with the defensive duo currently under contract until the summer of 2027. It remains to be seen whether Madrid will attempt to sign either of them.
