While the majority of European clubs are concerned with the Champions League at the start of the season, a delayed match of the 3rd day of La Liga took place this Wednesday evening. Real Betis hosted the club Getafe in Andalusia, on the pitch of the Benito Villamarín Stadium. A relatively dominated match by the locals and eventful marked by several cards distributed and fouls committed. In the second half, the former Parisian, Giovani Lo Celso, opened the scoring on penalty (61st), before doubling the lead (74th). Mauro Arambarri’s reduction did not change the situation and Real Betis pocketed the victory (2-1).

In the standings, Betis climbs to 6th place, while Getafe sinks into the red zone with a worrying 18th position. Next weekend, the Verdiblancos will host Mallorca at home, while the Azulones will play at home against Leganas, in the 6th day of the Spanish championship.
