Tottenham player sparks private jet controversy

Tottenham lost the London derby to Arsenal, and it hurts many Spurs fans. Beaten 1-0, the club coached by Ange Postecoglou lost again at home to its arch-rival, and this is badly digested by Argentinian defender Cristian Romero. Who has clearly found one of the reasons for the defeat.

Indeed, the 26-year-old player reposted, before deleting, a message from an Argentinian journalist on social networks. This message pointed out Tottenham’s decision not to charter private flights for its internationals, after the international break. For example, Romero was in Colombia with the Argentinian team for a World Cup qualifying match, and he only returned to London on Friday, while the Brazilians from Arsenal had benefited from a flight chartered by their club, allowing them to return on Thursday. Not sure that this entirely justifies this new setback…
