Real Madrid’s French community could grow next summer. While they already have Mbappé, Mendy, Camavinga and Tchouaméni in their squad, the Merengue are reportedly looking to sign Arsenal full-back William Saliba.
According to The Independent, the former Marseille player has many admirers at the Bernabeu. The European champions are looking for a new central defender and they believe that Saliba can be a solution to their problems. He is their priority, just ahead of Tottenham player Romero.
Real Madrid aim big for the coming season
Saliba is not the only player Real Madrid are targeting for the upcoming season. Alexander-Arnold, who will be out of contract with Liverpool in 2025, is also among the coveted players.
Furthermore, and to ensure the post-Modric, the Spanish club would seek to convince Rodri to return to Spain. The latter has already won everything at Manchester City and he could be tempted by the possibility of joining the Iberian giant. A bit like Xabi Alonso did in his time after a long stint at Liverpool.
