The championships resume this weekend after the international break. Following and ending the 5th day of La Liga, Rayo Vallecano welcomed Osasuna to the Madrid suburbs on Monday evening, on the pitch of the Estadio de Vallecas. A match full of twists and turns. Indeed, the match started off with a bang for the visitors with a goal from Raúl García (27th). But the break seems to have been beneficial for Iñigo Pérez’s men since they managed to turn the tide in around ten minutes thanks to goals from Abdul Mumin (50th) and Andrei Rațiu (66th).

Unai López scored his goal (90th + 5) to seal the victory (3-1). In the standings, Rayo provisionally climbs to 8th place, while Osasuna remains not far from their opponents with this 11th position. Next weekend, the Franjirrojos will host Atlético de Madrid at home for a regional derby, while the Gorritxoak will play at home against Las Palmas, on the 6th day of the Spanish championship.
