FC Barcelona values him more than anyone else in the team, and that was proven earlier this year.
A few months ago, it was reported that Barcelona had received, and rejected, an offer from Paris Saint-Germain for Lamine Yamal, who the Parisians wanted to replace Kylian Mbappé.
250 million euros!
These reports have now been confirmed by agent Andy Bara, who is said to have close ties to FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta, and sporting director Deco. Bara made the claims on the Inkubator podcast.
“One thing I know is that Barcelona rejected a big offer from PSG for Lamine Yamal – worth around €250 million.”
Lamine Yamal has a €1 billion release clause in his contract, and triggering it is likely the only way for Barcelona to not prevent him from leaving. Even if that clause were paid, the teenager would be expected to turn down the chance to leave.
